Sustainable development lies at the heart of Bouygues Energies & Services’s corporate values and is the driving force behind our innovation and creativity. At Bouygues Energies & Services, we take responsibility for both the short and long-term impact of our business activities. Our focus on sustainable development inspires us to innovate and deliver high performance, energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly solutions for our clients and our staff.
Bouygues Energies & Services has structured its sustainable development action plan under the Bouygues Construction approach, known as Actitudes. Each year, reporting is carried out on 42 indicators. Bouygues Energies & Services has stepped up its commitment on six priority indicators.

In 2010, Bouygues Energies & Services assessed satisfaction levels in 13% of its customer population. Because willingness to listen is one of its core values and the very source of its progress, Bouygues Energies & Services has made one of its goals to measure satisfaction in one-quarter of its customers in 2011. A few key indicators have been identified and will be tracked over time.
Excellence and transparency are two key Bouygues Energies & Services values. Our Corporate Code of Ethics drives our behaviour. Every year we run bespoke training plans, supported by our legal department, focused on key issues. In 2011, we introduced a new policy on gifts & hospitality in response to the Bribery Act, to ensure complete transparency in our activities.

Bouygues Energies & Services continues to innovate in the field of energy performance through the development of high-performance customised solutions that generate energy savings for its customers.
Each project gives rise to dialogue on the eco-variations available, with the assistance of our engineering division and strategic supply chain partners.
Safety is our first priority. Working towards a zero-harm environment is our objective. We are engaged in a behavioural change programme, where we proactively encourage the reporting of hazards and near misses as well as any minor accident. We wish to lead our industry in terms of health and safety in every business area. Our OHSAS 18001 accreditation and our year on year RoSPA (Gold?)awards are just two examples of the recognition we have earned for our excellent health and safety standards.
As part of our ISO 14001 certification, we systematically assess the impact of our activities on the environment, and continuously look to improve our environmental footprint. In 2010, we launched our own Eco-site label to reinforce our commitment to achieving the highest level of protection and care of the environment.
We continuously monitor and seek to reduce our fuel consumption. Our vehicles are equipped with GPS trackers, encouraging our employees to adopt fuel-efficient driving methods. We also provide eco-driving training to our employees to raise their awareness.
