David Webster Limited (DW) Awarded RoSPA Gold Award 2008

We are delighted to announce that DW has, for the 2nd consecutive year, won one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards for 2008.

Mick Twist, DW Health and Safety Manager said; “The RoSPA Gold Award 2008 is very good news for our business. It sends a clear message to all of our employees that we take their health and safety at work very seriously and that we have robust procedures in place to manage this - continued vigilance from all employees should equate to a zero accident rate. Employees can be confident that this is the Board of Director’s top priority.

It also sends an important message to our external stakeholders and demonstrates a commitment to safe working practices, and that we allocate adequate resources to monitor and control health and safety matters effectively.

I believe DW is dedicated to a culture of continual improvement and that the RoSPA Gold Award is an important indicator of this attitude towards health and safety.

The RoSPA Gold Award helps to ensure that DW has good health and safety management systems in place. Entering the awards scheme reinforces the message that good health and safety is good business.

Mick Twist will formally receive the Gold Award on behalf of DW, at a special ceremony on 14th May at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, Birmingham which runs alongside Safety & Health Expo 2008, the UK’s premier health and safety at work exhibition.
